Want Ubee Optimise for Xbox? 5 Steps to Follow

Unnecessary lags, stretching pings, and jitter might spoil your mood and your victory while gaming via your Xbox console. Do you have a Ubee router along with an Xbox console? You should try Ubee optimise for Xbox if you experience real-time communication or speed issues.

Optimising static IP and port forwarding can clear your obstacles to flawless gaming. Difficulties mainly arise because home networks have a moderate or strict NAT or network access translation type. Optimising the router in the right way will lift up the restriction from the NAT type and will turn it into a free one.

Additionally, integrated firewall properties of networking devices can block websites that are not dangerous. Online gaming might demand access, but the blockage affects the overall experience. That’s why you must modify a few settings to optimise your Ubee router’s connection for reliable gaming on Xbox consoles.

Ubee Optimise for Xbox: How can You do it?

The prime objective of Ubee optimise for Xbox 360, or any other series, is to enhance the gaming speed and performance. The first step requires setting up static IP for your gaming console. You can ditch this if you have already assigned a static IP for the Xbox console.

Here’s what you have to follow to overcome all the gaming challenges on your Xbox console and Ubee router:

1. Fetch the Xbox Console’s Network Information

Get your hands on the Xbox gaming console that you have connected to the Ubee router. Now, go to the Xbox’s home screen and hit the Menu button from the dedicated controller.

Now, follow the instructions below:

  • Navigate to Settings and select it.
  • After that, enter the Network option.
  • Select Advanced Settings under the Network configuration.
  • Now, you can see a list of networking details related to the Xbox console, and they are:
  • IP address
  • Getway
  • Subnet Mask
  • Primary DNS
  • Secondary DNS
  • MAC Address

Remember to note all this information on paper or on a computer. You will need them later.

2. Access the Admin Panel of the Ubee Router

The next step is to make necessary changes in the Ubee router’s control panel for effective and optimised performance. You can browse the web-based admin interface of the Ubee router directly from your Xbox gaming console.

4. Access Advanced Settings on the Xbox Console

Activate Quality of Service to enhance your router’s performance. You can stream or engage in online gaming on multiple devices simultaneously with the QoS feature enabled.

Switch to a Gigabit Ethernet cable instead of a Wi-Fi connection when you struggle with a decent speed from your Ubee router. Connect your Xbox console to the router using a compatible Gigabit Ethernet cable.
