c. Reset the Internet Explorer:

Open the Browser, then click on the gear icon.
Locate and select the “Internet Options” section.
After that, navigate to the “Advanced” tab.
Now you have to select the “Reset” button.
In the next window, you have to mark the box next to the “Delete Personal Settings” options.
Lastly, click on the Reset button to reset the Internet Explorer.

Now even after doing all the process if the Movie4k is not removed then, uninstall and reinstall the Internet Explorer and then repeat the above process.

4. Remove Movie4k.to from Edge Browser:

Method 1:

Launch the Edge Browser, then click on the three dots, on the top right corner.
Now to open more options, click on the “Settings” options.
In the next window, select the “Choose What to Clear” option which you can find under the “Clear Browsing Data” Option.
Now you have to mark all the boxes in the list followed by clicking on the “Clear” button.
Then exit the Edge, now open the Task Manager, then open the “Processes” tab from the “More Details” section.
Locate the Microsoft Edge, right-click on it and then select the “Go to Details” option and then click on the “End Processes” button.
Alternatively, when the Task Manager opens, you can simply go to the “Services” tab from the “More Details” option.
Now locate all the Microsoft Processes and click on the “End Processes” button.

Method 2:

If method 1 was unable to remove the Movie4k.to then you can go through this.

At first, Double-click on the “This PC” and then follow the path, C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe.
Now select all the folders and files in the folder and delete them permanently by pressing the Shift key + Delete key.
Now close the folder and click on the Start Menu, in the search box type “window Powershell”. Now when the results pop up right-click on the Windows PowerShell and click on “Run as Administrator”.
Now copy the below and paste this after the PS C:/WINDOWS\system32>

5. Remove Movie4k.to from Firefox:

a. Remove Suspicious Add-ons:

Launch the Firefox Browser, go to the top right corner and click on the three lines.
Now from there, click on the Add-ons section.
Click on the “Extensions” from the left panel.
Navigate to the right panel and then disable all the suspicious extensions from the list.

b. Change the Homepage of Mozilla Firefox:

6. Remove Movie4k.to from Google Chrome:

a. Remove Unknown Add-ons/Extensions:

Launch the Chrome Browser, go to the top right corner and click on the three lines.
Now from there, click on the “Tools” section.
Now click on the “Extensions” from the left panel.
Navigate to the right panel and then mark all the suspicious Add-ons/Extension in the list.

b. Change the Homepage of Google Chrome:

Launch the Chrome Browser, now go to the Settings menu of the browser.
Now navigate to the “On Startup” section.
Then mark the option “Open a specific page or set of page”.
Next, to it, you will see the “Set pages” option, here you can set proper page or you can leave it blank.
Then click on the “Startup Page” option, then remove the suspicious links from the links.
Locate the Search section. There you can set Google as your default page to open.
